We ended up using only disposable diapers for the first month for both of our kids. Needless to say, we were happy that we had some free Huggies newborn diapers in the house.
We quickly ditched that idea because meconium (baby’s first stool) was very dark and the stains were nearly impossible to wash off. When Baby T1.0 was born, we originally wanted to use cloth diapers exclusively. We signed up for the Similac Baby Club regardless and donated the formula to the local food bank.
